(1) South of G 2180
South of that mastaba, between it and G 4980, in cleaning the street between them and in exposing the remains of the lining of the mastaba which is east of G 2165 and which is in that street, see the diary of September 4, 1939. Sand, limestone debris and stones fallen from the mastabas and limestone debris underneath. Street not yet cleared and the remains of the lining of the mastaba not yet exposed and it is not yet numbered.
(2) G 2473
[In the room.] Description of the decorations and inscriptions in walls after removing the debris:
The inscriptions [are] only on the west wall, so we are going to describe it from south to north:
In the room on the west wall at the south end is very thin inscriptions in relief, separated by thin vertical lines and also by horizontal lines, on the inscriptions is red paint.
North of these inscriptions is a niche inscribed in relief and with traces of red paint, and showing standing figures on south and north at the lower part of the niche.
Drum inscribed in thin inscriptions with traces of white and red paint.
Crossbar. Inscribed, no color appears only the color of the gypsum.
Architrave showing a standing figure holding stick in right hand and south of the figure are some inscriptions perhaps his name.
In the niche above the four figures (two on north and two on south) are some inscriptions going to the whole length of the niche. Only on south the inscriptions partly weathered away.
North of the niche is a seated figure and on his face is red paint also his hands and feet. On the chair is a yellow color. The figure is facing to south and in front of him is a table of bread and below the table [are] some thin inscriptions. Above the table is shown objects of food and drink, and we can see a goose on a small table and above the head of the figure [are] some inscriptions perhaps his name.
North of that figure is a standing figure holding in his left hand a stick and something in his right hand. On the figure is red paint except the belt which is of white paint, [on] his feet a sandal. Above his head and north of the stick [are] some inscriptions. North of that figure [are] five registers:
Register 1: That register is on top, partly destroyed on top, showing figure pulling an ox. North of that figure is another figure also pulling an ox and behind the second ox a third figure. On the figures are some red paint. "Pulling animal scene."
Register 2: Below register 1, showing on south a standing figure, and behind the figure is another figure pulling an ox. North of that is a figure pulling three oxen, above each ox is some inscriptions perhaps his name. The figures have red paint and on the toes of the first ox is red paint, and the other three oxen had the same color of the plaster and on the horns traces of yellow paint.
Register 3: below register 2, showing on south a standing figure carrying a wrapped gift below his arm, the figure with traces of red paint and the fist with yellow paint. Above his head some inscriptions and north of him is another figure with traces of red paint and pulling a gazelle and behind the gazelle is another figure beating the gazelle. Between the two figures and above the gazelle [are] some inscriptions. North of them is another figure pulling a gazelle and behind the gazelle is another figure beating the gazelle (that figure is wholly gone, and only remains part of the head and the eyes) and pulling another gazelle behind him (the second gazelle with the head missing). North of the gazelle is another figure beating the gazelle with red paint and above the gazelle some inscriptions with red and blue paint.
