Clearing serdabs in G 5230 S (see page 48).
S1 - [Base] of standing statue was high up in sand, inscribed [GLYPHS] [14-11-78]. The sand was hard - not recently disturbed. On the floor were three other similar bases [14-11-79, 14-11-80. 14-11-81].
S2 - Six standing statues mostly life-sized, mostly tilted over to east. Heads all broken off and missing [14-11-92, 14-11-93, 14-11-94, 14-11-95, 14-11-96, 14-11-97]. Sand hard. Among these were a number of fragments of broken statuettes of red granite, etc.
S3 and S4 contained only a few fragments of alabaster and granite.
