Swept up wood dust etc. under 834. Cleaned of inlay 542 (north part, see page 480)
No. 882 the button on northeast corner of bed (left front corner). The button lies with the end disc down on clean floor debris

The leg fell to north (or was pushed by weight of deben box) early in the collapse of furniture. By this fall 882 (still attached to leg) was shoved to south and the button bent under to rest end down.
882 is like the other three buttons.

Three pieces, b overlaps a and c, the overlaps are nailed with small gold nails. Inside the bar c was fragments of core (removed yesterday), wood powder, small fragments of red plaster, etc. The bar was backed with gesso. Inside the button b-c, were fragments of wood, of plaster, also inlays, stone inlays, and wood powder. The inlays and some of the wood and plaster were intrusive.
(1)-(13) inlays from the "lily" (No. 845) which rested on and beside 776.
(15) five stone inlays.
(16)-(18) miscellaneous.
