(76) large fragments of mud sealing with impression of the following seal. [ILLUSTRATION with GLYPHS] If repeated twice gives diameter 1.78 cm, thrice diameter 2.67 cm, four times diameter 3.56 cm; size of lump 6 x 5.2 x 2.
I do not find any trace of further signs.
Here at last is the final proof that Hetepheres dies in the reign of her son Khufu. She was buried beside her husband Sneferu probably at Dahshur. It was discovered that thieves had broken into the tomb and Khufu ordered it removed to G 7000 X. Apparently no great pains were taken to supervise the transfer. This fragment of seal, was apparently gathered up with the broken pottery and thrown in to G 7000 X.
